Inspiring Leadership Through Indigenous Cultural Practices

Description

The rich and diverse histories, languages, cultures and experiences of different Indigenous Peoples across Canada are often passed down by Elders, ceremonial leaders and other teachers of Indigenous cultural practices.

This inspirational event features Dr. James Makokis and Anthony Johnson, First Nations and Two-Spirit leaders and winners of season 7 of The Amazing Race Canada, who will share their perspectives on the connection between Indigenous cultural practices, the importance of healing and becoming a more self-aware leader. Join the event to help find your purpose, pursue your healing journey and improve your leadership skills by connecting your human and spiritual selves.

Presented in partnership with Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada and Indigenous Services Canada, this event will be of particular interest to Indigenous employees. However, registration is open to all public servants.
